I was lucky enough to see the rather fab Young Marble Giants playing one of their all too rare gigs in London last night (a few crappy pictures here but none worth embedding on this page) – half way through a set of familiar gems was the one gem that was more familiar than any of the others…

which G500 release was the Dean vocal version on Andy? (I don’t own “Uncollected”).
I believe it was one of the “rarities” that made its first appearance on the Box Set – don’t have my booklet to hand to remind myself of when it was recorded and why it never got officially released until 1996 – I’d guess for This Is Our Music sessions.
