A few years ago the Galaxie 500 Mailing List started a project to record a tribute album. I very poorly co-ordinated the whole effort which slipped and slipped, partly because I wanted to be a part of it and was hoping that some talent would be bestowed upon be by some higher being - sadly it never happened but luckily there were a lot of other talented folk who contributed to the album.
It finally got a limited CDR release a year or so back. Now, however Decomposing - a tribute to Galaxie 500 and Luna is available for download…for nothing
I want to thank all those talented people who contributed and apologise for the time the whole project took.
