Britta has just posted a few pictures and some commentary from Dean & Britta's recent Men's Vogue event on the deanandbritta.com blog.

Dean Wareham announced on the Dean & Britta MySpace blog that they have acquired the ownership of the first Dean & Britta album L'Avventura and it will be re-issued on the 2nd September on the couple's own Double Feature records. The live show that Dean & Britta did at KEXP back on the 15th February is now available to download via the KEXP Live Performances Podcast. The set includes two songs each by Dean & Britta and Karen Ann and then all three of them performing Bonnie & Clyde.

Don't Let Our Youth Go To [...]

The Sound Of Indie has Dean & Britta's recent CMJ performance at The Bowery Ballroom for download.
One of the highlights of this particular show was the ending Joy Division cover, Ceremony. What is even more impressive is that Ceremony was initially covered some 20 years ago by Dean’s first seminal band, Galaxie 500.

No mention of the article on the Guitar Player website but apparently Dean Wareham is featured in a list of "The Top 40 Underrated guitarists" in the December 2007 issue. He shares the list with Robbie Krieger of The Doors and Mick Ronson which is decent enough company.
