The excellent blog The Sound of Indie recenly posted a lovely sounding track from Dean & Britta's "Galaxie 500 show" from a few weeks back (see previous post), I was among a number of people who pleaded for an opportunity to hear the whole show. Damon & Naomi have scheduled a gig at Rough Trade East on Sunday 12th October. The show kicks off at 7pm and is free. The duo's previous attempt at a London show fell through last July, so thankfully Londoners haven't had too long a wait for a replacement.

The last night of Dean & Britta's residency at the Zipper Factory in NYC will be a release party for the reissued L'Avventura. Support will be from Sonic Boom's band Spectrum who are stopping by on their way to the ATP festival.
Three of Sonic Boom remixes make up the bonus tracks on the L'Avventura re-release.

The CD reissue of Dean and Britta's first album L'Avventura should be available in your favourite stores today. You can also order it along with other D&B goodies from their new web shop that launches today. The album has been unavailable since Jetset went AWOL.
