Galaxie 500 albums have recently popped up in a couple of meaningless lists.
The Guardian Unlimited has a list of 1000 Albums to Hear Before You Die that features an appearance from On Fire and the December issue of Blender Magazine has the "100 Greatest Indie-Rock albums Ever" that has Today slotting in at No.75

Independent UK based music magazine Bearded has a one page feature on Galaxie 500 in it's second edition. You can download the magazine for free from their website, although you need to register and answer some mildly intrusive questions along the lines of "how much do you spend on clothes?"

I know I can watch this on the lovely DVD any time I darn well please - but I still got a sweet warm buzz coming across it on YouTube just now.

It's been over a year since I last pointed everyone to Mike's Galaxie 500 quiz (est. 1997) - anyone feeling like showing off can head on over and give it a shot. I managed 79/100.

Nice to see this finally show up, I haven't seen it since it was broadcast...
