The great Lee Hazlewood passed away last week after a long battle with cancer. Dean Wareham has just posted a tribute to him on the Dean & Britta MySpace blog along with excerpts from an interview he did with Lee in 1999.

Dean Wareham is providing vocals to three versions of the Suicide track Cheree on the forthcoming EP Füxa commits Suicide out on Mind Expansion Records. The EP will be limited to 1000 copies and will be available soon.

Back in 1996, while still a member of Luna, Justin Harwood teamed up with Pete Buck (REM) and Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees) to form the instrumental supergroup Tuatara.
