Warhol, Music, and Image featuring Dean Wareham
Dean Wareham will be taking part in a panel discussion about "Warhol, Music, and Image" with Mark Richardson of Pitchfork , and Ohio State Professor Barry Shank. The event is on Thursday 20 November at 5pm at the Wexner Center for the Arts in Columbus OH. Dean & Britta will be performing "13 Most Beautiful..." at the same venue later that evening.
Join us for a lively conversation among musician Dean Wareham (of Galaxie 500 and Luna fame, who is performing songs composed for a selection of Warhol’s Screen Tests later tonight with partner Britta Phillips); Mark Richardson, critic and managing editor of Pitchfork, the indie music bible; and Barry Shank, professor of comparative studies at Ohio State.
Dean will be signing copies of Black Postcards in the cafe after the discussion.
