I have to admit that I never really noticed Black Postcards as a stand-out track on Luna’s penultimate album Romantica. But live, on the band’s final tour in 2004/5 the song really came into its own.
This version is from the Friday night show of thier final weekend at The Bowery Ballroom and clocks in at nearly 10 minutes.

how black postcars is not noticed as a stand out track is beyond me, considering i thought it was THE stand out track on Romantica

Black Postcards v special for me - this is the first Luna song I ever heard (when Romantica was first released) and it made me go on a quest to find more. They are now my No. 1, all time, absolute, top of the pile, favourite band.
