OK this is a shot at bringing the guestbook back – the code is still a bit flaky so some things may go fruity but please be patient Email me with any bug reports thanks.
It’s using the same code as the commenting so spam should be fairly well managed. The main problems are likely to be comment numbering and paging but we’ll see how it goes…

I miss them so much it hurts.
I’ve loved Galaxie 500 since i saw them on SNUB on BBC2, doing Snowstorm, and wore out a tape of On Fire living in France in 1991. This site is wonderful.

As always, the site is great. Nice to have the guest book back although I was in favor of taking it down last time. End of the Luna tour and frankly the end of Luna made people a little wacky. Hopefully we’ve all settled down a bit.

PS– whats an RSS feed?
RSS is a way that published items can be delivered to you in a similar way to email. You “subscribe” to a feed using an RSS aggregator (either download one or use an online service like Bloglines or Google Reader) and then every time the feed is updated you get updated…
So you can read Luna, G500 and D&N news without actually visiting this site!

Apologies if anyone had problems with the Guestbook today – I fixed it last night and only realised that my fixing actually broke it this evening!
Does anyone have an opinion on the features, layout etc. of the Guestbook – any feedback would be good. I seem to have the spam under control this time although the bloody spammers keep trying…

I was just on ITUNES, and found the Dean Wareham EP Anesthesia. It has 3 songs on it including a softer version of the title song.
PS The songs are mislabled, but you can tell what is what.
I always preferred that version of Anesthesia – you can see the discog entry here. Nice to see it’s still available.
YET ANOTHER ultra-trivial discographical note for you: the promo version of the Starbucks “Sweetheart” compilation (erroneously) credits the cover of “Forever” to Luna, as seen here.

Sick as I am of the (literally) hundreds of comment spam I get every day and the fact that the wonderful Akismet is doing such a fine job I’ve decided to delete anything that Akismet marks as spam without reviewing it. If anyone has any problems please get in touch ASAP and I’ll reconsider but my poor db is straining under the weight of spam and I’m effing sick of it!
All comments and guestbook posts from now on will need to be moderated before they are published. This is temporary as I’ll not be around to monitor them that much over the next couple of weeks.
